
Learn correct boxing technique in a safe and professional environment, all whilst increasing cardiovascular levels, improving speed and gaining improved agility. BOXING will take you through a solid warm up, then introduce you to the boxing bags, skipping ropes, focus mits and eventually the RING! No experience necessary, and gloves can be hired for $2.
DO I NEED BOXING EXPERIENCE?
Not at all. While there is a boxing component to this class, the combinations are simple and are focused on fitness only. Your Box Circuit instructor will be able to show you basic box technique for the purposes of the Box Circuit class. HOW DO I GET STARTED?
CLASS TIMES: Class times can be viewed in the Group Fitness Timetable in the navigation along the top, or at the reception desk at the gym.
WHAT TO WEAR: Wear comfortable workout gear that allows you to move easily, and comfortable workout shoes. Gloves can be hired for $2.
WHAT TO BRING: A sweat towel and water bottle.
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE: Boxing is for everyone! The exercises used in Box circuit can be modified to accommodate all abilities and fitness levels.
