It promotes the principle that a smaller weaker person using leverage and proper technique can successfully defend against a bigger stronger assailant. Jiu jitsu is a fantastic form of exercise as well as a teaching discipline and self defense.
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
CLASS TIMES: Class times can be viewed in the Group Fitness Timetable in the navigation along the top, or at the reception desk at the gym.
WHAT TO WEAR: Wear comfortable workout gear that allows you to move easily, and comfortable workout shoes.
WHAT TO BRING: A sweat towel and water bottle.
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE: This type of exercise is suitable for every age and gender.
