If you are an experienced gym user, how about using a personal trainer to take you to the next level of fitness.

Cardiovascular fitness also called cardio respiratory fitness is the ability of the lungs to provide oxygen to the blood and the heart to transport the oxygenated blood to the cells of the body. It is also the ability of the body to sustain an activity for an extended period of time. Cardiovascular fitness is the most important aspect of any fitness program. Cardiovascular fitness should be the mainstay of any fitness program.

WEIGHTS TRAINING

To compliment cardiovascular fitness, Bodies Under Construction has many advanced weight training equipment, which is dedicated to its own areas around the gym.

Weight training is a common type of strength training for developing the strength and size of skeletal muscles. It uses the force of gravity (in the form of weighted bars, dumbbells or weight stacks) to oppose the force generated by muscle through concentric or eccentric contraction. Weight training uses a variety of specialized equipment to target specific muscle groups and types of movement.

Weight training differs from bodybuilding, weightlifting, power lifting, and strongman, which are sports rather than forms of exercise. Weight training, however, is often part of the athlete's training regimen.

Approach one of Bodies Under Construction Fitness Instructors to show you around the clubs weight training area or consult one of Bodies Under Construction Personal Trainers to design a program that will fit your needs.
