
Hugely popular resistance training class, performed with a barbell, plated weights and dumbbells. The class focuses on using all major muscle groups, by using high repetition movements, to shape and tone. Surprisingly, PUMP is also a fat burner – by increasing lean muscle tissue, your body’s metabolism is stimulated and churns through calories at a much faster rate, even when you’ve finished exercising! Beware - PUMP is addictive!
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
CLASS TIMES: Class times can be viewed in the Group Fitness Timetable in the navigation along the top, or at the reception desk at the gym.
WHAT TO WEAR: Wear comfortable workout gear that allows you to move easily, and comfortable workout shoes.
WHAT TO BRING: A sweat towel and water bottle.
HOW FIT DO I NEED TO BE: Not at all. Pump can be done by just about anybody. For your first class arrive 15 minutes early so that your instructor can help you get set up with your equipment. They will help you choose the right weights for your level of fitness.
